The VIN # is used to recover stolen vehicles among other things.
(We all know that Harley's are never stolen)
It can NOT be defaced or removed and if it is hard to read, should be replaced.

West Knoxville TN | Are Harley VIN's not stamped into the frame like other manufacturers? How then do you replace it? Give me a break. The tools were told to return the bike and they refused. If you or I did that it would be considered theft. |
