Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | A fella in a great hurry pulled up beside me at a traffic light and ask's "man can I talk to you for a minute" I said "yeah pull over in that parking lot after we turn at this light", make a long story short, after drooling over the Vision and asking questions for 20 minutes He said after he gets his year end bonus he's going directly to the Victory shop and get one. He was riding a beautiful cherry 1980 Kawasaki KZ1000 LTD, it looked virtually brand new and only had 8000 miles on it................Hmmm, ain't that something ?? |

I remember my first long trip on the Vision, just got it a month eariler and had rode to Mickey Town and I was on my way back. It was late at night and I had just crossed the Va border and was stopping at the truck stop. As I was wondering around the parking lot to park away from everyone, an SUV kept following me so finally I stopped. They had been following and admiring the bike. At first I thought they were going to bag me on the way I was riding or mug me. But they asked alot of questions, complimented the bike said it sounded sweet (I've got stock pipes) and headed back onto the interstate. |

He is correct. 1980 was the last year for kick. I dont think any colors are more rare then the other but the blue color for 1980 was Sundance Blue.....and they are pretty.
An unmolested KZ1000 is rare enough.....good examples can bring north of $3k. |
