I have had one crap out during the first year and it was replaced under warranty. Today I noticed that the same side (left) is half the brightness of the other one. Not sure how long it's been that way, but it used to be bright. I assume it's a bad connection or ground. I plan on looking at it tomorrow. My question is has this happened to anybody else, and is there only one LED inside? I know some people have gotten them apart.

Thanks

Mine went half lit and then finally out. after pulling it out, I had one wire coming out of the connector. So, I had it replaced under warranty. There is pics on here about a badge and the interiors and replacing the light with another strip. cheaper than replacement.

Thanks. I'm well over hte one year warrenty, and don't think they will cover it under the extended warranty. I'll have to look again for photos. I only one I found was the badge half.

mine was replaced under the extended warranty. Pull the connector and make it go all the way out, and have them replace it.

My left one is also acting up. Sometimes out and sometimes half bright.

Thx for your post. My left side went dim yesterday. I'll drop by the dealer for warranty claim.

my dealer said they had a brand NEW ness vision that had the left one not working.. mine did the same thing. i took it part and found out why... Water is getting in and causing the problem. i got to see first hand how it was causing the problem. what i did. (dont recommend this to others) is i cut open my left badge and installed led strips. so far its been 7-8 months and they still work.. its just a little Brighter than the right one. it cost me about $21-$25 to do this project. i think i have photos under my profile

its a PAIN to personilze it.. its not made to be torn apart in the first place! i had to use a hot glue gun just to get everything to sit back in place and even then a few months later the glue came loose.

the light is a SIDE mounted led that can NOT be replaced. it is a Square led that shoots light THROUGH the (glass type) board that reflects light outward. i took mine to radioshake when the led broke and that manager really tried to get my working. he was actually excited about having something NEW to solved a problem with. but in the end it couldnt be repaired. its actaully a good idea. IF it was totally water proof.. my Guess as to why the left side goes out. (aside from defective) maybe water lays there more so than on the right side? if you wash your scooter on the side stand.... i know my dealer said they replaced a bunch of them under warranty on almost every vision they sold so far.
