New Bohemia, VA | I'm thinking of renewing my effort to refine my Vision Dash Organizer that I've used now for about a year and absolutely love it. But, on the first go around there was only a couple of folks that even showed and interest and the cost was more that I expected.
After using mine for this time I have come to think of some improvements and a possibility to bring the cost down to acceptability. But, of the forum folks that are regulars and those who lurk, are you currently using anything on your dash as a dash bag by chance, and if so, do you have any pictures?

Just a heads up... be very careful how you spell dashbag. No one's gonna lay down a couple bills for the other kind of bag. |

Moravia, IA | I dont use anything but I dang sure would.....I miss all the "up front" storage from my wing and I would love to get some of that back on the Vision. That little glovebox area is full of power cords and aux in cable.....its almost pointless to try to stick anything in there.
Is that a home made bag or something you found? |

New Bohemia, VA | I had my local leatherman put it together for me. A lot of work went into it to get the curve of the dash and the support to keep the shape full or empty. |

| Velcro instead of zipper? 2 half moon wire frame inside to retain shape? Genuine "pleather" instead of leather? Leather only on the top and front?
Just trying to help you think outside the box.

New Bohemia, VA | Thanks for the suggestions. The expensive part is the labor in getting the interior to curve with Vision dash and the compartments dividers to curve with it. I didn't go into this idea in marketing the bag in mass production, and to date I've only see a few motorcycles with any sort of dash bag, and they ones that I saw are a dime a dozen. I didn't want a slap-on-dash bag, I wanted a leather one that fit the Vision dash. I'm looking at renewing the effort having put mine through the rigors and learned some, so I wanting to do another one to the idea's I've had, and it works, it'll be easy to share with others within a decent price range.. |

Apopka, FL | I like it and would probably buy one. Question, does it stay put when you raise or lower the windshield?
Idea; you could put 2 zippers in so you could unzip from center either right or left so you wouldn't have to unzip it all the way each time. How does it stay in place? |

ran a bungee cord through the belt loops to attach to cable loops I attached to existing screws on each side of dash
not as much room as your design, but it fits and lays well and holds everything (phone and charger, glasses, EZ Pass, earplugs, wallet) I'm use to carrying up front
can't locate the camera right now to show how it fits and mounts |

Being a tank bag I would assume it holds up well to the weather? No water gets in from rain or melting snow? |

Coos Bay, Oregon | I have the West coast version of the dash bag, do a search here for "VDO West Coast Version" for photo's. I love mine, been using it now for 6 months and can't image not having storage on the dash for wallet, phone, reading glasses, etc. I ride with two oither visions and plan to help santa with getting there VDO's (Dash Bag) under the X-mas tree.
