Posts: 494 Akron Ohio area | Just purchase my new ride, 2011 Vision Tour, and thought I would feel out the members on this forum on their thoughts on the available reverse gear for our scoots. My dealer told me to ride it for a while and see if I really wanted to spend $1,600 on it.You can add questions to the poll, and give multiple answers. |

| I don't use it too often but when I need to it's the best thing since bottled beer.
Some say it's too slow but I can't think of a way to regulate it when moving so I feel the speed it has is perfect for all situations. I don't need to be in a big hurry on my bike even just backing up.
Of course it came on my Anny but I was going to get it if I bought a different Vision. |

A friend added it to his Vision because he pulls a camper/trailer - it has greatly enhanced his parking of the "rig".
My wife wishes we could add it to her 08 but - damn the luck - we can't...

1) At the end of a long day.
2) Stuck in a pothole in a parking lot. |

Posts: 111 Prairie Dog Heaven, CO | My LT had reverse (comes standard). Got me out of trouble more than once (deep gravel parking lots, sandy, downsloping parking lots, etc.)
However the VV is much lower than the LT and I have -so far- gotten out of everything without having to call for help :-) |

| I got reverse fitted for $3,338.00 little Aussie dollars. You people are lucky to pay $1,600 US. I have learnt over the years to get what you want as early as possible to get the longest use of it. |

Posts: 1290 Ruskin, Fl | I learned the first week I had the bike to pay attention to how I park. I was strong enough to push the bike back, but it was a little sandy. No traction. Kinda scary since when my foot slipped I nearly dropped my brand new bike. Got stuck one other time, didn't see a rut in a grass parking lot. I bought the person that pushed me back a $3 adult beverage. I'de have to get stuck alot before that equaled the cost of reverse. |
