| Well I got my bike back today! it was two and half weeks ago that I went down on my bike after sliding through oil and slamming to the ground. The insurance company (Gieco) scratched a check within 4 days and Valley Cycle of Bakersfield did a great job of getting the parts and having my bike detailed and ready today. I am a happy boy again! I went through Bakersfield back in July and picked up a shirt from Valley Cycle. I've got a cousin that works in Oilville and hope to get back out that way again someday. That ride north on 155 is one of the best rides of my life, to date. |

Glad to read that both you and your bike are okay. Hope to hok up with you soon just over the Hill in Ventura County and will connect when the wife and I come up your way, hopefully soon. Take care and watch for that damn oil.
