Are the handlebars solid alluminum?
Can they be tapped to hold a cupholder?

Posts: 235 Kincardine, Ontario, Canada | Bars are chromed steel. I drilled and tapped the clutch reservoir for a 10mm RAM ball, and attached the cupholder to it. If you have an 09 or new Vision, the clutch and Brake reservoirs are already tapped, the 08 wasn't |

Posts: 741 Central New York | Bars are aluminum. I drilled and tapped one side for the cup holder and the other side for a cradle to hold my Blackberry when I want to use it for GPS. Used some blue threadlock on them and have been good to go for 6k so far. |

Posts: 284 mansfield, MA United States | I used a oversized bars version of the Kruzer Kaddy. It bolts on right behind the clutch where the bar is bent. Fits nice and looks good there. I got it at whitehorse. here is the link. http://www.whitehorsegear.com/kruzer-kaddy-cup-holders it was the best add on I have put on the bike. I use it every morning for my coffie. |

Posts: 115 Columbus, Ga | Thanks for the responses. I bought a Kruzer Caddy the other day. I am trying to come up with a way so that when I take the cupholder off there isnt any or very little hardware left behind. I like what a cup holder does just not the looks of a clamp on my bars when not using. |
