Posts: 34 Encino, CA | I plan on buying a new Vision 8-Ball this month and had a couple of quetions for y'all
I like to use a headlight modulator and brake back-off module on my bikes for safety reasons (have a Yamaha Stratoliner now) and was wondering if any of you have installed these on your bikes and which ones you recommend to use (and buy it from where for best price)?
Also I want to add in the stereo system but dont know who has the best one for the price...suggestions? Ideally want to use my ipod and be able to charge it and change tracks without touch it (i.e. via remote or handlebar switch)
And lastly I like a deep LOW grunt on my exhaust and a friend told me that the "thunder sticks" are best. Are these slip on of full exhaust mods? Ideas suggestions would be appreciated
Oh yeah...and I am all thumbs when it comes to working on my bike so easy install is also a concern
And lastly with a MSRP of $18,249 + freight and prep do you think that $17k even + T and L is a good deal these days on a new 2011? | |

| Glenster,
Got your email, I was going to suggest Cycle Dragon in Cerritos, bought my bike from Private Owner for $13K and it was in perfect condition. Seeing how Vison 8 Ball is relatively new, I think $17K out the door for a 2011 is a smokin deal. I've heard thunder sticks and they sound a bit pitchy, I like the Stage 1 Level 1 sound with the gatlin tips looks so cool. Everything is at a finger tip or thumb control use my Ipod on my Vision and it works great, they also have a cable now that will charge as you plug in. Can't offer you any feedback on modulators, but personally, have never had any problem with being seen by cage riders while on my vision. When you get bike give me a call sent you my cell # and we will hook up for a ride.
Peace,
