Those were a real limited edition run (around 100) put together when the Vision first came out in '08.  It was a one shot deal.

I'm toying with the idea of making embroidered Polo-style shirts with the Vision Pilot logo but at this point it is just a dream.

Post a thread if you decide to do it. Also, PLEASE consider having a pocket on the polo shirt. Thanks, Luke

I was the one that originally designed and produced the t-shirt in 2009. I do not have any Vision Pilot t-shirts left over but I do have a couple of large Vision Co-pilot ones left over. SongFan do you need the Adobe Illustrator file for the design to make your embroidered polo shirts? I would be interested in those myself.

For those of you who don't know what is going on here, you can check out Crawford's most excellent design in his photo gallery here: http://www.vision-riders.com/bb/photos/photo-thumbnails.asp?albumid=69&Page=1&sortdir=desc  Close-ups of the actual design are on page 3 of that gallery.  Definitely one of the coolest chapters in Vision-Rider history.

Here's the deal if I take on the Polo shirts.  I am not, in any shape or form, a businessman.  I have a friend whose wife has a nice embroidery machine and does this on the side.  My thoughts on the shirts are since we ride the nicest bike on the planet, these shirts should be nice.  I am not going to wear something cheap and cheesy looking so don't get your hopes up for some $15 good deal.  I would have four options:  Short-sleeve - pocket/no pocket, Long-sleeve - pocket/no pocket.  I would offer them in every color that the Vision has been made in so far:  Black, White, Midnight Cherry, Super Steel Gray, Ice Blue, Ocean Blue, Antares Red/Black.  The colors will be as close as possible and you'd just have to trust my judgement on the fabrics used.  I'm not going to set up a poll to see what everybody wants.  I'm going to talk to the friend that would be doing the sewing and make a decision about what to offer.

As you can tell, for me to do this the way I want, it would be overwhelming.  The easiest thing would be to offer only a black short-sleeve with pockets but I would want them to really be personal choices.  The logo will be this one:  http://www.vision-riders.com/bb/photos/show-album.asp?albumid=69&photoid=747

I have wanted a shirt like this since day one but didn't think I'd have to make it myself.  If I decide that my life is too empty and I need to take this on, I'll let you know.  (Crawford gets the first two.)  I realize that there is a huge desire here, but if you ask me right now if I want to hassle with this, I would honestly say no.  I would want to offer it to Vision Pilots from New Zealand to Yellowknife, Canada and my head just can't get around it.  This whole deal boils down to when is it worth my time and money to do this?  If I did it, it would be like Crawford's t-shirts; a very limited run and then shut the door and move on.

Nothing is impossible for the guy who doesn't have to do it.

Seriously, don't hold your breath about me taking this on anytime soon.  If you really like the idea  of a Vision Pilot embroidered shirt (or a silkscreened t-shirt), e-mail Crawford and he will send you the Adobe file that you can take to your local shop (or online) and have them made exactly like you want much more quickly and conveniently than I could ever offer.  The only thing Crawford asks in return is a sample (in his size) of whatever you make.  He really did a fantastic job on that logo and totally deserves the recognition.

I would have to get one if they were available. It would be nice for casual Fridays. BTW, I wear both my Vision Pilot and Vision-Riders.com shirts with pride.

The Vision-Rider.com shirts are only a few clicks away from your homes mailbox.....just click the link below and look at the bottom of the page!

Hey Hottierod,
I live in Bellingham, MA and would be more than happy to go pick up a couple of shirts from whoever you have do them. If you get the file and have a few done locally.Wonder if one of the local dealers would be willing to have them made and stock them at their locations.
Let me know.... Thanks Ray
