Maybe you have seen this, but in case you haven't, here is a link to another article on the Vision. Nothing earth shattering, but I just came across it and thought it was fun nonetheless.

How do you lock your key in the trunk?

SF, I almost have done it a zillion times, and I did it once at home fortunely. It takes finesse to say the least.

Open Trunk, Lock it, put the key in the trunk, close trunk.

I did it once, I hate when that happens!

Here's one, how many of you have been riding down the highway and have someone pull up next to you and yell"HEY YOUR KEY IS IN YOUR TRUNK!" pull over and find with a red face that you left trunk key in place without removing and fortunately it was still there, many limes later?
Peace,

I only carry one key, so don't know how I could do that.

the review is a nice one.but in my opinino kinda useless as he keep comparing things to his 600cc sportsbike. and nother other touring bikes. he doesnt speak of the NEW transmission and how it is over the previous one. the reason why he cant is he doesnt know anything about it, thats my guess. the review would have been better by someone that actually rides a Vtwin or better yet a touring bike.. not a sportsbike. it would be like me reviewing the newest greats sportsbike coming from a vision. i bet you most of the sportbikers would say i didnt cover such in such..

I got a differing take on the article.

They wanted a sport-bike rider to put the Vision through the paces on a twisty mountain road.

I enjoy riding twisties and am somewhat comforted by his review.

Any modern day cruiser/tourer can pound out the miles in a straight line.
I still look for the thrill of carving up mountain roads in the back country.

My take is that if you come from a sport-bike background and want move to a touring bike but don't want to give up the fun of carving up the twisties, then the VV is a great choice. I think lot's of riders move into touring at some point, so it's great to have that perspective.
