Posts: 732 Western WA | OK, so I thought I had escaped this one, but looking over the bike this weekend I'm seeing moisture inside the bucket and the cracks along the top.
Has anyone got this replaced under extended warranty?
Any advice on dealing with the shop?

Another arguement to use is that they made a design change mid 09 model year because of the cracking... Best of luck!

Also, if your displeased with the Polaristar warranty, you can cancel it and get a pro-rate refund minus a $25 processing fee. |

But here is a thread with some great examples:

Mine is not quite as bad as the ones in the pictures - yet.

Posts: 366 Albuquerque, NM | Saw the pics....I was expecting to see cracks in the front/rear seam along the top. Not multiple vertical cracks in the top front of the headlight. This type of crack(s) are not going to be easy to seal in a clean way. Kinda looks like stress fractures from the front lens being too thin.

I wouldn't recommend this course of action though. |

Yes, that is a drastic route to a repair if ever I heard one.
Hope you're doing okay. |
