| My wife and I agree on this:
Vision riders are a different breed of rider with a deep appreciation for the Vision. We have been on rides with others and on one bike run so far with 700 bikes in California for Ride to the Flags put on by the Gary Sinise Foundation, omly one other Vision in pack and never got to meet rider. What I did get was comments on my wife's and my vest shirts and glasses all Victory Vision gear, and not nice ones by you guessed it, HD riders. What a shame, we were all there to commemorate the victims and heroes of 9-11 but they couldn't see passed their noses.
After following this post and noticing the attitudes and appreciation for all things on two wheels, we would really prefer to meet and ride with more Vision owners, not because of any elitism, but would rather not have to put up with the better than you attitudes. Not sure if this is making any sense, we are cool people as are all of you who post here, just rather ride with those who are out just to enjoy the ride no matter what you sit on. So if any of you are from So. Cal. or know of any clubs out our way would really appraciate the intel.
To all a safe ride and be good to your Visions (like I needed to say that) and each other.
Peace,
PC |

Tucson, AZ | PC,
There are four us Vision riders in San Diego who regularly ride together when our schedules permit. We just rode to Temecula together last weekend to do a 2011 Victory demo ride. We are planning a ride to Williams, AZ called "Rally in the Pines" which is posted on the VMC website under the SW Region forum. It's October 22-24th. Take a peek at it and see if you're interested. If you travel to SD, please let me know and we will make arrangements to meet up and go for a ride. Vice versa once I know where in So Cal you live.

Posts: 226 on the edge of Los Angeles | Hello PC, Totally know what your talking about when it comes to large group rides where you might get only a few Visions. Been down that path a few times. I was not in on the flags ride but we are somewhat local to where that took place. Leaving for Mariposa this morning for a meet up with many other Victory riders. our group will have 3 Visions 1 X Country and a Vegas . So we are out here and look forward to meeting you... JSP.

Posts: 104 Corona, CA | I just bought (more like stole) an 08 Vision premium from a guy in Michigan. He needed the money and let it go for a song.
We are in Corona and always up for a ride anywhere but the city traffic. We also have a Gold Wing and Road Star - so we fit in with just about anyone.

Posts: 34 Encino, CA | I just picked up my new 2011 Vision 8-Ball today at a brand new Victory dealer...Berts Mega Mall in Covina. They are a very large dealer for all of the other metric brands + Ducati and others and now have Victory. As a matter of fact I am proud to say that I am their very FIRST Victory customer. Good experience and great price (compared to others) ! If you are in the market for a Victory they are the IT place to buy one since they are a brand new point and by far the BEST run motorcycle, ATV, boat retailer in all of California. Their showroom is larger than your average Costco...no joke! The General Sales Manager Steve tells me that he will personally take care of any direct referral from me...so there you go. Ask for Steve the GSM and tell him that Glen Fagin sent you! |
