Posts: 11 Chino, CA | I preordered a street premium in midnight cherry back towards the end of the preorder deadline along with the $1000 deposit and my dealer says he still has no clue on when my order is going to come in. Does this seem right? Is there anyway to even check to see if he really ordered it? Any thoughts? |

| I would get my deposit back and go shop around. Many of the dealers here in California have them in stock. I would call V-Twins 101 since they seem to have at least a half dozen each time I go there. |

| I am waiting also, was told that the billett wheels and the chrome additions are holding up the delivery. It was ok up till now, because the weather is still ugly in illinois, but was told it should be here april 4 thru the18 just it time for the season. i will also state that i have had numerous other things done, the tour pak rack powder coated black, the tank panel painted gloss black, the controls chromed, the rear seat hand rails powder coated black, and some small items added, so all this is not complete the dealer had to roder extra to have them completed so when the bike gets here they will be ready for set up. |

I ordered my bike a couple of weeks ago, and the dealer says it will be here sometime this week. Of course, I haven't got it yet, so we shall see. But I have no reason to doubt the dealer. They've been in business for over 30 years, and I bought (well, my parents did), my first bike there in 1974.
Dang. I just dated myself.
I would definitely shop around and make some calls.
A quick search on http://www.cycletrader.com brought up over 5 pages of Visions being sold by dealers all over the US. I don't know what state you are in, but the site is well worth a visit.
Good luck. |

Posts: 11 Chino, CA | It just seems odd. I asked for my deposit back but they didn't want to return it. Wanted to sell me another bike. Tour not premium. I told them I would wait another couple of weeks for the bike I ordered.
I am in Southern California. 3-5 weeks is what I was told at another local dealer. |

Posts: 82 Northwest of you | As I understand it, in California, the bikes have to have emission systems that are different than the other states? That could explain why there could be delays on the bike. Around here, there are lot's to choose from. I don't think you can buy a bike from another state and take it into California. |

Ca. will not allow a resident to register a 49 state bike that has less than 7500 miles. |

MRG is right, V-twins 101 has at least two of every color every time Im there.
As far as the deposit, they have no legal right to keep it. Call a lawyer or the BBB. |

Take a look at this link for an example of a blacked out Vision. It's beautiful.

| Was at Randys Saturday looks as though the bike is to ship on the 4th or
the 11th. Mine will have all the chrome panels, just a few things blacked out.
I like the idea of the black reflecting off the chrome.
as soon as it is ready i will take the pics. Trixie your pin striping is great
just the right amount. Thanks Tex i am waiting for the day. I had eye Surgery so
I can not ride anything yet 3 more weeks and i am allowed. come on Spring and Summer
It sure is good to have an extended family now on the VISION RIDERS SITE.
We have it on the HERITAGE SPRINGER OWNERS ASSOCIATION SITE ,
ASLO A GREAT GROUP " HSOA"
PS DOES ANYONE KNOW THE COST OF THE PANELS THAT ARE BEING SWAPED OUT FOR THE CHROME ONES. Randy will give me a credit for them, maybe i will keep them as spares? what do ya think. |
