Go ahead and post your thoughts as to what it means to you. I, being from a Religious Christian Background, have a view that is inherently Christian oriented and is based on the view of Jesus rising from the dead after being crucified. This is something that I celebrate every year the calendar says it lands on. I never actually know, seems like it always changes. This thought process of my religious background encompasses the "GOOD LIFE!" This is not a solemn occasion for most christians, in my own view, it is a celebration of the resurrection of Christ! This day most of the time is highly overshadowed by the events leading up to the Crucifixion. Treachery, deceit, payments in the back alley, some nails and a great big Cross. All of which have been explained and processed in great detail in many books and some movies. It takes hours and even days to explain or depict all that leads up to the crucifixion. Then you spend approximately 10 minutes to an hour explaining or depicting what happens after the resurrection. So, in my own optimistic version of what I believe, it is better to focus on the one thing that will save my soul based on the glory of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In my own thoughts, I believe, this to be the "Good Life" while here!
I didn't see where anybody had posted as to a "Happy Easter", so, I thought, I would send out the kind indulgences of family, friends, acquaintances and of course "Vision Pilots"!
So, I have rambled on into a recourse of religion and the "Good Life"! What, I fondly remember from my own childhood was large amounts of folks gathering at Church on a Sunday Morning. When the services were over, a lot of those same folks wound up back at my Grandparents home for Sunday dinner. Now for some of ya'll, where I come from in Texas, Dinner was served at 12:00pm and Supper was the evening meal. I remember counting one Sunday and there was over 30 people gathered with a bunch of kids thrown into the mix. Folks just don't do that very much anymore. I always try to get folks together to recreate that same feeling I enjoyed as a Kid and for the most part have been partially successful at getting folks together and breaking some bread and drinking some cow juice or sweet tea. Today, after I get off from work, I will go home and some of my best friends and my family will have some supper and more good times. Still enjoying the "Good Life!"

Is there like a word count limit that once exceeded will not let you post. It has taken me a while to get this to post. As you can see I had to break it up.

Chickita, no post/word limit on VR. Everyone enjoy Easter even if you don't celebrate it. After all, there's always the chocolate!

Jelly, Do me a favor then, see if you can put the two posts that are together and see if you can post them. I tried all I kept getting was the same page over and over and it never posts. This is the second time this has happened. I was wondering about limit. But once I bust it up it posts just like it should. Thought there might be a character combination I was using, but that doesn't seem to be it either. Oh, well, Happy Easter, the chocolate cheesecake should be good later.

Amen to that. It's great to hear a fellow Vision rider talk about Jesus and the TRUE meaning of the easter holiday. My church had over 1500 people attend two services. I hope those who attended for the first time will return.
