Posts: 366 Albuquerque, NM | While riding home today, my engine rpm consistently dropped to 600 while stopped at red lights. Normally, it idles at about 1000. On other occasions, it hasl idle'd high @ 1300 rpm. I blip the throttle a few times and it goes away. Anybody experienced this problem? |

Posts: 111 Prairie Dog Heaven, CO | I have a high idle sometimes when I start the engine at high altitude and descend down to lower altitude (happens often around here). Only way to fix that is turn off and restart. Fixes it every time. dealer does not know what causes it. There have been some suggestions on this forum about air/fuel mixture but I still don't really get it. |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | If it were happening to me I'd probably run some SeaFoam or other injector cleaner through first. It won't hurt, but it may just take care of it. Other than that, if you really want to know you'll have to put it on the Digital Wrench to get some feedback and codes. |

Posts: 366 Albuquerque, NM | Died on me making a right turn at a major intersection yesterday....luckily I pulled in the clutch and hit the starter before I might have gotten rear ended. Taking it in to the dealer next week. Thanks for the suggestions. |
