Been wanting to upgrade my grips on my 2009 Vision.  Love the heated grips but wanted a little larger diameter and the stock grips are just butt ugly.  I've seen quite a few of these Kuryakyns ISO Grips and like the styling.  Two questions:

  1. Will they kit on the Vision handlebars
  2. Any way of making them work with heat? Even if I have to destroy my stock grips to get the heating element out of them there should be a way of wrapping/integrating the heating element into the new grips.  Has any one attempted this?
  3. Will Kewlmetal handlebar mounted helmet locks work with these Kuryakyn grips?
Any help would be much appreciated.

my fix for the size was to put leather grip cover complete with tassles! They work much better for me as I didn't like the smaller grips and relatively tolerant of the weather and usually don't turn my grips on until 30 degrees or lower.

Tassles on a Vision??  Say it aint so!   Tassles on a stripper are nice, but . . .

J/K thx for reply

I know the Kurys will fit on a Vision. Dont know about the heat element or helmet locks.

i seriously doubt the heater fromt he stock grips would work in the iso grips. i had the iso grips in the past and if you remove the rubber there is the metal/plastic part of the grip between the black rubber parts. if there was any heat it would be VERY uneven. PLus the black iso/rubber part of the iso grips are very thick. and would more than like dull the effect of the heat. when i had my iso grips i had alot of OC issues with them.

I'm thinking of going the route of having two sets of grips. A pair of fancy pretty ones for summer, and the heated stock grips for winter.

Have you thought about putting grip puppies on you stock grips? They will offer the size that you are after. Also, you would not have to mess with the stock grips or heating parts of the grips. Grip puppies are cheap too. Just another option.
I want the kuryakyn grips for my vision 8ball, but i do not have the heated grips to fight with.
