Posts: 70 Fryeburg ME | If the 3rd Gen Ipod you have is not a Nano or Itouch do NOT use it on vision you will fry the hard drive in it over time. The Nano's and I touch's do not have a hard drive and therefore are safe to use on bikes. |

Posts: 44 Salt lake city Ut. | Part # 2877195 is the part for a 2010 Vision. We have used it with most all apple products and Visioness is right do not use a hard drive model it will go bad from vibration. |

Posts: 111 Prairie Dog Heaven, CO | I'm still waiting for one part so I could not turn the whole shebang on yet. My dealer said something about possibly needing to update the radio software but he said since it's a 2010 it may be up to date. I will be able to tell you more on Thursday.
I am new to this so I can't tell you how to do this yourself - my impression was that this can only be done at the dealership...
Good luck |

Posts: 444 Bay of Gigs, WA | My '08 Street Premium has the 2876116 white cord. All these threads got me so scared I haven't plugged anything into it yet. I got a couple year old 30 gig ipod, and a nano. My wife loads them. I didn't think there were any moving parts in ipods, just a little ball of white light, that if you messed with in any way, would go out and waste $200-300.00. So the deal about the hard drive makes me scratch my head. Is this cord compatible with either of these? And if not, why would it even be included on the bike?
Thanks in advance,
Russ |

Do not be scared. I have been running the same Gen3 Nano since I brought the Vision home.
Others have had issues ..... I do not think I am that lucky. |
