Posts: 4 Okotoks,Alberta | I just installed the factory center stand on my 2009 Tour Premium - NOT HAPPY. First, the installation was worse than building the space station. Had to remove or loosen most of the fairings from the motor back and remove the bags. Then had to lower the entire exhaust system. Now that it's finally installed, it drags on almost every corner -I swear it drags when I go over a shadow. |

Posts: 77 Virginia Beach, Virginia | You have a center stand on a Vision? U sure you don't have a K1200LT? I honestly did not think there was enough ground clearance for a center stand on that bike, but I can tell you that even on the LT it will drag over speed bumps, around corners, etc. especially if loaded 2 up. I would love to see a picture of the stand installed-as I said, news to me! |

There are other ways to temporarily upright your bike for service. The center stand isnt one of them. |

I have heard that the KingBagger Center Stand is just fine.....but the Victory Center Stand is really bad. |

Posts: 849 , FL United States | Yes, I read that the Victory stand was a POS and therefore order one from KingBagger.
I think yes but we did have to loosen all the muffler bolts/brackets to get it in place. The only really hard part was getting the bolts lined up with the threads. Once that was done by hand we could then tighten them with a wrench.
Whole process took us aprox 2 hours.

Posts: 23 Stony Mountain, MB Canada | I put a Victory center stand on my 09 Vision for winter storage and for checking the engine oil level and for washing it. I am not overly impressed with the clearance issues that have came with it, I wish I would had done more research in this forum before I bought it as I know I wouldn't have. I will just chaulk it up to another learnig experience, don't get me wrong, this is the only bad thing I have had happen with my Vision, everything else has been excellent.
Where can I find out more information on the King Bagger center stand and where can I buy one from.
Do they have a website?
Thanks,
Neal

Posts: 741 Central New York | I picked up one of these - http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?category=&q=m... - for garage parking. For $60.00 (on sale) you can't go wrong. One learning experience to pass along. Set the chocks closer together than you would believe correct for your size wheel. When I first set mine up I set them too far apart and had to use a jack to get it back out. You want the entry ramp to juuust overcenter enough to hold. Then you can mount up and get out with just a little rock back.

Posts: 444 Bay of Gigs, WA | I bought a Condor for $260 at the Seattle motorcycle show last winter. Made in the USA for only 4 times the price. It holds the VV up, though, and came with a cool adapter to mount it on my tilt bed trailer (made in Texas, though probably by Mexicans, who knows?) so I can tow it around behind the motorhome (built in California) as a dinghy. It's perfect for changing oil (from the Gulf) and washing the scooter(made in Iowa). So I heartily recommend it. I'd have bought the Harborfreight one if I'd seen it first, probably, but then again, when I got on the VMC website there was a big dust up over buying American, so I guess the universe led me in the right direction after all. At least I didn't put any Americans out of work. Gotta do what I can...just sometimes one looks at a cheaper price and goes for it before he thinks about it, is all. |
