| Has any one tried to pull the baffles out of a stock vision exhaust???

Posts: 432 Gettysburg, 2008 Tour Premium | No need to pull the baffles. If you gey a strong flashlight and look down inside from the header side you can see three tubes sticking up into the chamber at the front end of the muffler. In the center of these below the plate these tubes mount into is the center baffle tube. An appropriate size hole punch no bigger than 1.5" can be used to drill out this area. You will need a drill bit extender. Myself I just used a 1.25" steel rod with a pointed end to punch out the baffle. If I knew how it was made I would have drilled out the baffle plate. |

Posts: 22 eastern NC | I pulled my baffles. Well pull isn't the appropriate word. No way to pull them. You need to cut the end off the pipes. Once you do, the baffle system will slide out with the end. I then cut all but about 1 1/2" of the baffle off. Rewelded the endcaps back on. My only concern was not enough back pressure. A week later kevinx installed cams and dyno tuned. I guess theres enough back pressure, cause to quote kevin " those pipes work!" Entire process took me about 4 -5 hrs.
