not far from hustler wisconsin | i am going to take my 09 (bought it new in may) into dealer for 5000 mile service. i have so far these complaints.
1 the 4rth gear noise is had in other post.
2.rattle from panel below license plate.
3. radio quit several times ( i pulled fuse inspected and replaced and radio worked)
4. radio reception is crap
5.it has killed several times coming to a stop sign. restarted easy but just cut out when i left off on throttle.
6. fit of doors on saddlebags is poor
7. pops/backfires between 2-3 and 3-4 when up shifting
is there anything else i should beware of?

it is hard to believe a bike that sounds so awesome pulling in 5th, can so so sh!tty in4?

LaPorte,Tx. | wibiker, there are threads here on almost everyone of your issues. And if you read through them, there is a lot of information about the Vision and those issues. I don't know what bike you came off when you got the VV, but a lot of Vision riders came off other V-twin bikes, so when you roll up to a stop, and if your in the habit of blipping the throttle for that good old V-twin sound, don't do that on the Vision, it just does not like it. If that is not the case then besure the service tech knows of the problem. |
