Posts: 36 Florida | so i bought the kit as well as the 99 led stingerz for my 08 vision. i got the stingerz in no problem but i am having issues installing the kuryakyn. i looked at the link with pictures but the person who put it up said he was only connecting it to affect the trunk. i also read the kuryakyn instructions which are very simple but i need to know which color wires do which function. Here is what i need to know:
wiring for:
left turn power
right turn power
taillight "run" power
taillight "brake" power
also, the controller has two adapter plugs in it, which one do i attach the load equalizer to(or dont i use it)
also anything else you can offer is appreciated.
I am going to post this on another site as well, just in case of different users.
thanks

Nalcrest, FL United States | Hi D, If you scroll down to the end of the tutorial from Ezra you will see the color codes used. You should not need the equalizer with this installation. Just make sure you are tapping into the correct wires under the seat. The pictures can be a little confusing. I just did this mod a few weeks ago and have not had any problems with my lights or Cruise control. The lower lights in the V part of the tailights will work the same as before. only the trunk lights will change. If you have a manual you should be using it to help you along. Good Luck! If you need any other info just ask. We are all here to help each other.

Posts: 9 Springfield, IL | Hopefully you'll get this soon, I've gone through and connected everything and checked it twice. I am still having problems with the signals. The right signal is fine but when I activate the left signal both sides flash and if I hit the brakes more than once nothing happens. Is there anything that I may have missed? Any and all help is needed. |

Posts: 9 Springfield, IL | I did use a circuit tester since I no longer have the stock wire harness. My next step will be to make sure that I tapped the correct lines. |

| When checking these out... make sure your switch is "ON" not in "ACC"! I've had mine for a few years and it still does weird stuff in "ACC", but functions perfectly with the switch "ON"! |
