I have been using Amsoil in all my vehicles since 1990. I tried Amsoil,Royale purple and just decided to try Victorys own oil. I dont know if its a placebo effect....but the Vision seems to be running cooler and radiating less heat with the Vic oil...This is from my own observations after 2000 miles with Vic oil, 25,000 miles with the Vision and prior experence with the other oils. Has anyone else experienced this?

Somewhere on this site is a post claiming the exact opposite of what you just said. Interesting.

I had the exact opposite of that. And I used my victory oil temp dipstick as reference. Plus I had a more noisey cold dry starts as well especially in the spring! But that only make sense as the Vic oil is a 20w40 not a 10w40. I also noticed notchy shifting in as soon. As 1000 miles on the victory oil as well..

The question here is this. Is the engine REALLY cooling better, or is the oil not doing the job of absorbing the heat to tranfer it to the cooler?? Lower oil temps do not mean lower engine temps. That is why Vic moved the temp sensor into a blind metal passage and out of the oil passages

Maybe. My Vision seems to work better with things oiled than it does without oil. Maybe some kind of trend? I'll have to ask my dealer if he uses oil on my bike. If so, I can maybe expect it will run forever. Or as long as I do - whichever comes first?

My bike runs cooler when it rains. I can feel it and I used a rectal thermometer to check it.
I also found if I take the tires off it much quieter....

If you use a human thermometer make sure you know the difference between an oral one and a rectal one.

The difference is THE TASTE.

My '99 V92C has almost 98,000 miles on it (has had no motor work/repairs performed) using the Victory oil and there were times that I went over the 2500 mile interval.
