My salesperson told me that Victory was up 49%. He is seeing reduced Vision sales which he attributes to the cross bikes, and expects to rebound once those that are attracted to the cross series have their garages filled. Although the 49% sounded good he claims it is just a number and really just shows how poor a year they were having in 2009. Guess that means that Honda actually did better last year. phoenix9 Posted 2010-07-30 11:12 PM (#65948 - in reply to #65944) Subject: Re: Numbers are up Cruiser Posts: 152 Litchfield Park, AZ Percentages can be deceiving in the business world because you need to take into account market share, revenue, profit, PE ratios.......etc. Right now the number that EVERY single CEO and CFO are looking at are the Revenue numbers, and that is the 49% number he was referring to.
