Posts: 3204 Memphis | I don't know exactly when I joined Vision-Riders but it was around three years ago this week. Unbelievable run. I have ridden with VisionTex, Pollolittle, Radioteacher and Smadge. Would like to ride with a bunch of you guys. Flatsix ruined me by starting the Motivational Posters thread. (What a hobby though.) Special thanks to Jeff and Miles for keeping this forum true to it's nature. We have had to be nudged back into place occasionally but it is still the most diverse and interesting bunch of riders on the planet. Thanks to Lloyd, Kevin and the other Victory wrenches that willingly offer up free advice. Thanks to Scribe for recognizing Jeff and Miles and throwing them the "first to know" bones along the way. Thanks to Badnvegas for "talking me off the ledge" while I was waiting for my bike to come in. Thanks to my guys at FRS Powersports, Memphis for making me the most loyal customer they will ever have. Best three years of my life. Here's to three more...... |

Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | I don't think VR is much older than three years and I have to take my hat off again to Miles and Jeff as well, and all that make this place a great place. Thanks for the reminder SF! |

Posts: 562 SC, Bluffton | I just ran across something the other day. It was a $500 check written in May of 2007 for the deposit on the Vision. I picked up the Vision in October of 2007. The first in the area, and people still think it is a new release sometimes.

Posts: 432 Gettysburg, 2008 Tour Premium | I too would miss this forum if it was gone. I have belonged to other forums and paid for membership to TheVMC. I will not renew TheVMC membership. For the most part probably 90% of the VMC are just like me, interested in the brand/bike and would like to leave politics totally out of the picture. I have owned Goldwings and BMW's and there forum's too were well moderated, either that or those bike did not attract the type that seems to pupulate many of the H-D websights.
Hope to meet up in AVR. Just booked a room in Jackson, MN. |

Posts: 3204 Memphis | Thanks John. Eddie, it was nice meeting you guys too. I also got to spend part of a day with Ken & Penny here in Memphis. After the AVR next month I'll have a lot more faces to put with the names here. I plan on taking a ton of pics there and having a whole new folder of ideas for future posters. |

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | Tom,
Congratulations! I do miss the buckwheat rants. When I joined in October 2007, most of the threads were..."When will my Vision arrive!!!!!"
I have family that is moving to Memphis for two years starting next month. I have told the wife she can fly but I will only be riding to Memphis.
I will let you know the schedule as soon as I can.
Ride Safe. |

I also joined the VMC early on while trying to find more info on the Vision before I purchased.
I am here several times a day and notmuch changes on the VMC form day to day.
Glad to be here and hope to meet a bunch of new old friends at AVR in a few days.
See y'all in Iowa!
