Can anyone tell me how easy (hard) it is to put cruise on this bike. Would appreciate any info on the install process.

Also looking at installing a heated seat and grips.

Thanks.

Can't speak to cruise control, but the seat & grips are easy installs, the seat especially. Not sure about the cruise since it requires installing the cable to the throttle body. I do believe there is a procedure (maybe outlined in the install directions) for electronic adjustment of the cable's tension. check out this related Tech Ref for the Vision (same cruise control setup):

I did the cruise install on my '10 Xroads and it wasn't so bad, took about 4 hours. You ABSOLUTELY have to remove the swingarm and shock - the module fits up inside the frame casting behind the shock. There are NO adjustments other than the throttle cables. Wiring was 'plug n play' into the factory harness. The only special items I needed were a torque wrench and a six pack of Guiness Extra Stout (the Guiness had a extraordinary calming effect as I watched the growing pile of parts!!) OK. now the kicker - I bought my OEM kit off Ebay for $89 with free shipping!!! I ain't lyin'!!! Hope this info helps.
