Posts: 562 SC, Bluffton | Long story short, On May 29th I ordered a new switch for my front brake, from a semi-local Polaris dealership, to activate the brake lights, and cancel the cruise control. My credit card was charged and every week I called. Everytime, a different story. This place had employee turn over as well. Come to find out today (because I made another phone call), that even though the part number pulls up in their computers, and they can bill me, Polaris won't send the part because they aren't a Victory dealer. BS! I am pissed at Polaris/Victory right now. My former Victory Dealership closed. I thought I found a solution.

Posts: 803 Perry Hall, MD | Have same problem with my local Polaris dealer (2 miles from the house) who sold me my last bike. Doesn't make any sense to me as a customer, but perhaps if I had a Victory dealership it would. Good news here is that my local dealer is getting a Victory dealership as well.
Can you just order it from a dealer by phone and have it shipped direct to you? |

| Polaris and Honda are very much alike in that there can be a dealership that sells only atvs but not motorcycles and because of that they can only sell ATF parts and not motorcycle parts. It doesn't make sense but it is how they choose to do business. |

At the Purepolaris website, after clicking on the parts catalog, you get the following. Parts cannot be purchased directly from Polaris/Victory using this catalog. So, if you have found a place to order online, I would love a link. Thank you, Herb

Posts: 156 dinwiddie, va | Victory dealerships can't get polaris parts, and polaris dealerships cant get victory parts. Unless they are obviously a multi line dealer. Victory and polaris are handled as seperate company"s. |

I am sure my extended warranty would cover it, but it ain't worth the drive. I wouldn't even have known what the problem was had "etspastimes" not hipped me to it.
