Im bored and im toying with the idea of riding from SW pa to NC, id like to hit the dragon on the vision. I was thinking about staying in a hotel/motel, but then i remembered this place.. I have no set dates when i want to leave. im actually trying to find people to go down there with.. lol

| Nope but I've stayed at this place; http://www.fontanavillage.com/
These folks have wash bays with hoses, towels and all the other stuff for washing up your bike if it gets messy, gas a mile from site, close to the dragon (5 minutes if I recall), lake, great roads and reasonably priced. Very biker friendly place. Some of our group decided to rent a cabin there (in complex) instead of staying in the main resort/hotel.
Just another option. |

yep your right! i used to be pretty active with vroc. we hosted the 2004 Vroc rally in lake lure NC. wonderful place. then i went to the ones in maggie valley a few times.. i kinda got away from vroc when i bought my vulcan 2000 as the help on the vroc forum for that bike was really bad.. (no one really had any back then) so i lost touch with just about everyone.. =( |
