Well the lower wind deflectors work. We rode up to Ricketts Glen state park and swam in Lake Jean today. The lowest temp we saw (89)was for brief spell the temps dropped as a front blew accross the 2,500 foot plateau that the park sets atop. Most of the time we saw above 100 and as high as 105 while riding. Quite warm for PA. We stopped and ate at Quaker Steak & Lube and the temp regestered 110 for quite awhile after.
The Vision still amazes me. Most bikes, even water cooled bikes seem to loose there edge in these temps. This bike runs great, maybe even better. It even seemed quieter and that is really wierd after riding Harleys.

i was concerned riding so far and then into the hot desert region, but no longer. This bike performs very well and it seems to run better here in the desert. Going back east later this week, can wait to ride the loneliest road in America.
