Gave the baby a bath yesterday. Ran the windshield all the way up to more easily get at some road kill bugs. (Never bothered before) Notice some spderweb cracking around the 2 lower center mounting bolts. Anyone ever seen this before? Is it likely to progress?

I overtightened a CeeBailey shield on a Harley and got some crazing. Rode like that for over a year and a half and never broke.

Sounds to me like the bolts were tightened down a wee bit much.

I had the same problem on my 08'. In the lower position the windshield was riding against the plastic housing on the left side. My dealer replaced the entire assembly. All covered under warranty. However after riding about 600 miles I noticed it is rubbing again, on the same side as before. Guess I'll go back before it cracks again.
