Posts: 8144 New Bohemia, VA | Though I'm working and away from home during the 4th of July weekend - It is not about hot dogs and beer - it is our freedom. I can think of no other honorable way that I can personally spend it than to be around those who serve and do something that is for our freedom.
May we enjoy our freedom for many years to come - and thank a veteran - young or old for their selfless service - I'm thanking you now my friend, whoever you may be.

Today, as we celebrate Independence Day, let us all take time to reflect on those patriots that took their stand against tyranny and oppression and forged the birth of our great nation.
And give thanks to those who continue to go in harms way to to protect our freedom.
GOD BLESS AMERICA

Posts: 101 Cold Lake Alberta Canada | Yesterday we had 40 bikes and a police escoet to welcom home a 24 year old EOD Team member that was injured in Afghanistan a couple of months ago. He was the lucky one that day. It seems fitting that his first day home with his loved ones, to start the trip back to health is July 4.
Thanks to all military members past, present and future. American and Canadian.
