Bttery install?

Cruiser Posts: 175 Hinton, Iowa I am thinking I am going to have to install a new battery in my Vision as the original one keeps going dead. How big of a pain is it to change? I put a new battery in a few months back. Really pretty easy, took about an hour or less. You should have a motorcycle jack to make it easier. If I remember right you will need to have a 4mm hex, 6mm hex, 10mm socket or box end wrench. You will have to remove the black cowling at the bottom front of the faring. There is a holder plate on the front of the battery that comes off. There are specific instruction in the service manual that is available here for the 08 Vision. Good luck on the install.
