Posts: 320 Savannah, GA -Year round riding!! Yay! | Today, at Daytona, the Victory Riders ASsociationa held their VRA Owners appreciation luncheon. Arlen & Cory Ness were there, as well as Michael Blackwell (It was very cool.... ). Got to meet a bunch of great people from both this site, as well as the general Victory site (Luke & Devil... it was great to hang out with you guys!!! I know I met others, but I blow with names...). Then, they had a VRA ride down Maint St. It was great. I'm 'guesstimating here', but probably 250 bikes, mostly Vics, including about 10 Visions, riding down Main St. together. It was great to meet other Vision riders. I'll admit, since arriving here in Daytona on Monday, I've gotten a little sick of pulling up somewhere (or trying to leave), to be sidetracked with the "Q&A session" (y'all know what I mean..... sometimes, I just have to pee.... ) I've posed for more pics, had my pic taken while riding down the road, let poeple have a pic taken with my bike.... Anyway, I had to get a pic with Arlen Ness' Vis! http://s51.photobucket.com/albums/f364/GAgirlTrixie67/?action=view¤t=ArlenVision.jpg |

| It's Mark Blackwell. :P
Glad you had a good time. I went in '03 and hell of a storm came through. The mohawk haircut dude from Rocket Roger's was trying to hold the tent rope. Thought he was going to land in the Bahamas?
Normal 1 hour 45 mins ride took me 3 and 1/2 hours to get home that day. |

We rode home in a horrible rain yesterday, but at least it was reasonable warm (68 or so). We left Daytona at the crack of dark to beat the worst past of the storm. I had a customer in the store today who said that he was coming home from Orlando yesterday around 3pm in a cage and hit Lima bean size hail just north of Daytona. Saw lots of poor bikers trying toget through that. As bad as me & hubby's ride was in the rain yesterday, I'm glad it wasn't today. We had highs of 47 degrees and 20-30 mph wind gusts. I was fighting my VTX the whole ride home (I should've rode the Vision... the heated grips would have been welcome. My gloves were still wet from yesterday, so I had light gloves on....BRRRRRRR!)

| Trixie is yours the vision with pin stripping? I had the gray one with the pinstripping. Any word on the guy that got the ticket for rapping of his pipes. Hope the film crew covered it for him. After all it was their fault we'd do something like that LOL |

Posts: 320 Savannah, GA -Year round riding!! Yay! | Yep, that's me!I was wondering about the outcome of that situation myself.... Doesn't hardly seem fair if he got totally stuck with it, himself. Might have to go over to the main Victory board abd see if anything had poped up ove there! (I love your Jetson theme!!!)

Posts: 88 Billings, MT | I envy all of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been riding BTP also most everyday. I have rode on a day that the temp has been above 45 degrees. I have ridden through two snow storms and rain. I would kill to ride in the sun and 60's. I got to see Cory's and Arlen's Visions in Sturgis last year! WOW they have brought an awesome bike into the art world! |
