Man, what a ride. It's my first time to the keys and a week off to enjoy it. Went down the west coast of Florida across the Everglades and hit US 1. Rode it all the way to the end. I never got on any interstate freeways so there was a lot of stop and go's. Couldn't get over how often people would pull up beside me a traffic lights to comment on the Vision. All ages, all types of people, license plates from all over in Florida. Some barely spoke English, but wanted to talk about the bike. Stopped at the southern most point of the keys to take a picture beside the marker. I came back to the bike and there was a European couple taking pictures with a high end camera (you know the ones with the foot long lens). While I was answering a listening to voice mail two more couples from Germany with the big cameras started taking pictures from every angle.
Started heading toward Daytona today staying on A1A most of the time. First time coming up that road through Ft. Lauderdale, beautiful, beautiful. Perfect weather too. Thank God for days like today.
I saw 3 Bentley's, 1 coupe and 2 convertibles, pretty rare, but I've travelled almost 1,300 miles and haven't seen another Vision yet!
Staying in Ft. Pierce tonight and on to the crazy bike week tomorrow. Maybe some of my Vict
