Posts: 37 Coos Bay, Oregon | I wanted to share photos of a set of exhaust tips I made from parts, I found a stainless steel exhaust tip that was the same diameter as the stock tips where they bolt to the muffler and as a bonus I discovered that 3-1/2" custom exhaust tips made by many others will plug right into the stainless steel housing to give it a unique look. It also makes it easy if you want to change your look later by installing a differnet tip.
When I started this project I wanted the exhaust tips to look like the rear of a jet engine, simualr to the nozzels seen on fighter jets, I am very pleased with the results. I have about $240 involved with this build ( about the same price I paid for my Gatlins) but they came with alot of personal satisfaction that these on my Vision are different, you see I ride with Two other Visions and we look for things to make each of our bikes stand apart.
I took lots of photos of how I made them and plan to post directions with part numbers one night this next week so others can use my research. I really like the spirit of the Vision-Riders members here in sharing knowledge of things they have tried.

Okay, I'm not sure how to follow up on this one, are you all's mind in the toilet, or is it a pun on Harley?
I like the looks of those, I rate them up at the top without being gaudy or novelty. |
