| I'm thinking of selling my Street Glide and then purchasing the Kingpin 8-ball as smaller around town bike. I had a chance to ride the entire Victory line this past Saturday and was very happy with the feel and ride of the Kingpin 8-ball. The only thing is that I am not sure I like the fenders of the Kingpin. |

I had an 04 Kingpin, great bike, but a Kingpin can't compare to the Vision. I would recommend taking off the trunk to give you a bagger look, anyway just my opinion. Ohhhh, I bet that FJR is something! Enjoy your rides and have fun! |

| VisionTex,
The funny thing is now that I have the Vision and had the chance to ride the Kingpin, I instantly noticed how much weight is on my wrist while riding the FJR. |

Posts: 82 Northwest of you | To your point, I have a Jackpot that I have "decked out" just the way I always wanted it and assumed that except for "trips", I would be riding it. However, now that I have a Vision, I find that I am choosing it for running erands or any excuse for a ride. It might just be because it is new, but.................... As to your question, my wife rides and loves the KP, even though I recommended she get a Vison. |

Posts: 904 29 Palms California | I have a new Air traffic controller who is looking at the 8 ball. He's 6'4 and around 270. He wants to go "used" and I convinced him to at least go Victory. He's also not willing to finance so the Vision isn't in his plans. Think the big lug will be able to be comfortable on the 8 Ball? |

| If he's planning on a used bike I don't think the Kingpin 8 ball is for him since it is a new model. I rode the kingpin 8 ball this past weekend and I really enjoyed it, hence why I want one . I'm 5' 7" and 175 lbs and the bike felt great. Not sure if the bike will be good for this height and weight. He should try to get a demo ride on one first. |

I have a friend that rides a Vegas 8 Ball an 05. He is about the same size as the person you mentioned. His 8 Ball has over 50,000 miles racked up. He actually rode an Iron Butt a couple of times. So it can work. He did put a Mustang seat on the bike. He is now on a mission to get the Vision though. |
