| How clean is your air filter? I always try to keep it simple. Run all the gas out and fill with a good 93 octane rated fuel, replace the air filter, make sure the plugs are good and gapped properly. If that doesn't cure it, time for a trip to the dealer. |

Posts: 432 Gettysburg, 2008 Tour Premium | Chris, "check the fuel pressure"? Even I do not have gauges to check fuel pressure. My own take is the bike is pretty lean stock. Unless there were ridability issues or the bike has started running poorly in other area's I would not worry. A good break-in and tight cyl seal will often lead to a rougher idle. If you tend to run at lower RPMS there is some possibility of carbon build-up in combustion chambers and piston tops or dirty injectors. Run some Seafoam through a couple of times and see how it runs. |

Very simple test on the Vision with the schrader valve. When I had pop issues that was one of the "tests" that I was told to do and even the manual calls to test fuel pressure at poor idle.
I agree the fuel pump would cause problems in other ranges and it is likely not your problem. When I had the fuel pump actual go out that was the last thing was check because my bike had false readings in other areas. |

| Thanks for all the replies. I cleaned the throttle valve and got the carbon clean from the victory dealer. You add 1 once per gallon ran a half tank through so far and i can tell a big difference. Don't know if the carbon cleaner or cleaning the throttle valve fixed it but its running a lot better. |
