I've received a few emails about "what happened to the Gadget Guru Vision Blog" so I thought I'd give you an update.

It's difficult to write and ride at the same time! Heck, I even get upset when the kids talk on the cellphone while driving...don't get me started about texting while driving or I'll go into one of my famous (or infamous) rants. So yes, I have been putting in some seat time...much more than I thought I would. It had its first service this week and today, I did an Orlando round trip. For the first time I experienced the Vision without the trunk and now I consider it a "convertible" bike...two different riding experiences in one bike...Touring Bike and Hi-Tech Power-Cruiser. I'll go into this further in a few days on the Gadget Guru blog. Like any writer, there are times when the words flow. Today, after 350 mile trip is probably not the best time to tap into my creative side. So the juices will soon flow

Yes, I've been riding and the Vision has not disappointed. Being my 11th (or 12th) bike that has graced my garage, I'm truly enjoying the experiences the Vision has brought to me and am thrilled I made the plunge. I don't work or am affiliated with Victory so my blog ramblings are simply documentations on my personal experiences. Also, as I stated before, I have no advertising (or spyware) on my website so it's nothing more than a creative outlet for me. I've received numerous responses from the VR members here and feel like I'm slowly becoming a member of a nice family.

Even better, the folks here are fantastic. I've visited a number of bike-related message boards and can honestly say that not only has the Vision-Riders management put together a great board, it is much more civilized and intelligent than others on the Internet.

The Vision-Riders members have a characteristic not found on other bike-related boards and this is simply the fact that we don't trash other bikes that are not Visions. We're the good guys and respect other riders...although many of them are so short-sided, they wouldn't even consider even sitting on a Vision.

I think the management is doing a great job and we owe them a debt of gratitude for giving us this place to meet each other.

I don't know about you, but I visited the Merch tab on top and picked up a shirt. This is a nice way to say thanks to the management.

Andy, I agree with you 100% about V-R website being a much more hospitable place than say the VMC. Too many rants, name calling, trashing other brands, etc over there.

Well said. I got my shirts a couple of days ago. I enjoy the good information here.

Andy,

Couldn't agree more and I too have some t-shirts...now if we could just get the store to come up with a cool Vision-Riders decal for that spot on the back of our bikes between the turn signals...we'll have it made.

How about a good, embroidered sleeve patch?
