One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?
Did you guess which thing was not like the others?
Did you guess which thing just doesn't belong?
If you guessed this one is not like the others,
Then you're absolutely...right!
Could always try some "in-field re-engineering modification procedures".....otherwise known as hacking.
Oh yea....almost forgot...filter on the left is a Vision filter. Filter on the right is for all other Victory bikes, or at least it appears to be. |

That filter is the one from the Vegas, Hammer, Kingpin.......
Since the vendor screwed up, they should do the right thing and make this right for you, if they don't, go through ebay resolution. |

| no need to replace your filter, looks like you have the high flow....just clean it and plug back in. any auto store will sell K&N recharge kit, filter cleaner and oil. |

Posts: 562 SC, Bluffton | I have been searching for a paper filter for a week for the Vision.
I can only find "high performance" filters.
I do not have a local dealer.
I guess it is the downside to owning a Vision?

I don't find any downside to owning a Vision, except one, when you can't ride because it's broke.
You can take your current filter and blow it out until you get a replacement. But with that said, I'd be glad to get a couple from my local dealer and mail to you at cost and shipping, seriously. PM your address if you want me to do that for you.

Posts: 3773 Pittsburgh, PA | about the filter that doesnt fit, ALOT of the stock replacement filters on ebay in Small print under the vision says fits victory EXCEPT the vision. its listed under the vision because of the search word Victory.
only one example listed under victory vision. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Victory-Performance-Air-Filter-05-08...

| Your new filter does not fit "all" other Victorys. It fits those with the Freedom engine. Sure won't fit a '99. |

Posts: 1484 LaPorte,Tx. | Go here to get the part number for the stock air filter, this is for the 2008 Vision.
http://parts.polarisind.com/Assemblies.asp
Go down the list until you get to Engine Air Intake, double click on that line and you will see the flter and part number.
You can find all the part numbers for the Vision, but you can't buy direct from Victory. But it is a useful tool in looking up part numbers and then calling dealers for the pricing. All dealers are not pricing the same, I've have seen 10 to 20% off from some dealers.
In order to get to this section of the Victory website you have to go to the Online Part Catalog on the Pure Polaris page. You have to sign in on the next page, and then go to bikes newer than 2005. Put in the VIC catagory the year of the bike and select the model...Visions at the bottom. This is not for accessories. Hope this helps. |

| My recommendation, go with the K&N or equivalent, you buy it once, clean it every 25k -50k when needed, the filter will outlast your bike. plus it allows your bike to breathe better. |

If the seller doesn't respond, go to the ebay and click on "contact us" and go from there, I had an issue a few months back where the vendor received payment but did not send my item, I contacted them several times with no response, went through ebay resolution and got a full refund including shipping. |
