| Damn. I have this 2007 Kingpin Tour Deluxe sitting in my garage. Paid off, stage 1, and absolutely beautiful. This is one beautiful beast that I truly love. My problem is the new Vision. Since I first saw it I was smitten. Now my local dealer has a new top of the line midnight dark cherry that is absolutely
taking me to a new level. Hey y'all.... I'm no spring chicken and neither is my wife (60+). I've had many bikes, but damn this Vision is sweet. This wonderful lady I am married to when asked maybe if we should look at the vision said "what the hell took you so long". What a babe I have!!
I think it is a foregone conclusion that this weekend that I will be driving the Vision, but I sure will miss my kingpin.

To ride is to love... |

Posts: 3204 Memphis | Ed, Join the club. I had no intentions of buying a new bike. I had an '03 Concours (Connie) set up exactly like I wanted it and we spent tens of thousands of miles together in trouble free bliss. The Vision came along and it was "Poof! See ya later babe." She understood.

Edix, I had a 2004 KP Deluxe, with 32,000 miles on it when I traded it off on my Vision P/T in December. By the time it arrived after waiting over 3 months, I knew I did not want two bikes in the garage. I can't take care of half the stuff I want to anyway, riding too much. Anyway, nothing against the Kingpin, but I believe your going to kick the KP into the ditch after you get the Vision, it is that much better. Also, I don't believe your wife will want to get back onto the Kingpin, I know my wife wouldn't. Good luck. |

| Funny you should post this. As most of you know I have the Vision, a Street Glide, a FJR1300 and a Spyder. After riding the Vision this past Sunday and then getting on the FJR today I can tell you that you will get spoiled by the Vision. I could not believe how different the bike two bikes felt. |

1. If you can afford 2 keep the Pin and add the Vision
2. If you can only afford (or want) one than pick the best one and own it
P.S. The Vision is by far the "best" one! |

Posts: 904 29 Palms California | whats with the fuzzy math? 60 is 60. Like the Vision, if it's HOT, and still revs your engine, RIDE IT! Lord forgive me....all the pygmies in south america..Buy the Vision. Screw the debt, leave that for your kids and grandkids, just like social security. Sorry, got caught up with politics and super deligates and stuff. I'm sure you understand we are all just your hard working Americans on here to get knowledge from you saged and wise older folks. Your query about the Vision perplexes me. I stand back and yell (with a real big boy voice) BUY THE FRICKEN VISION! your on a vision web site, what did you think we would say? Sheesh |

Posts: 904 29 Palms California | he's just playing with my emotions...You could ask that question on any other site, and get the same answer. Not the same flowery, confusing mumbo jumbo I give, but hey, the hokie pokie is what it's all about. Hard working is right! I spend all night trying to stop my eye from twitching and the bathroom is over 25 yards away. Drink a pot of coffee and see if that don't become part of your cardiovascular work out... Hey, why is it good for you to get your blood preasure up while working out, but drinking beer and yelling at the T.V. is bad for you? Same thing isn't it? I would rather die of a heart attack in my lazy boy than on some tread mill in an over priced gym. NEWS ALERT: We are now experiencing record cold...(sorry east coasters). So much so, that the scientist are saying it takes aways any validity to global warming. "and the people said": DUH! |

Posts: 74 Puyallup, Washington | Ed, you really should go for it. I had my previous bike (not as nice as a Kingpin) only 7 months and 2000 miles before my wife and I saw and fell for a Midnight Cherry Premium tour. We've owned it two weeks now and there has been no buyer's remorse. |

Edradio here, I too had my last bike for 7 months, and then test rode the Vision Tour Premium. I WAS riding and enjoying the 2007 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1600. HOWEVER, just 90 minutes on the Vision test ride and I was ready to swithch. I've had my Vision for 2-1/2 weeks, 1000 miles, and am completely satisfied, as a matter of fact, I'm ecstatic. My 72 year old pappy (Dad) who is a Goldwinger, thinks I've made the best decision available! |

Posts: 423 northwest florida | I have an '03 Nomad with a few extras I have installed. I test rode the vision about 2 weeks back. The dealer let me have a vision tour to demo. All I can say is I am now counting my pennies to get one. Never was much on borrowing money. Sure there was a few oddities about the vision but every bike I have had over the years has a few quirks that you adjust or modify or remove and put something else on it. All I know is I will be getting one.
-back rest would be nice
-intercom should be standard on tour and premium
-better antenna for the radio
-trunk should have intergrated lights with the tail lights/brake lights.
....but this is the first year so maybe next year some things will be added or modified. |

The voices in my head, they tell me things. Like, this is your last night on nights Buckeye...get down with your bad self, your as bad as you wanna be, and stuff. 3, 2, 1,...."poof" |
