Beside GAgirl, has anyone done any painting to the actual painted surface, such as murals, strips, overlays, flames, chrome, leather? I'm not talking about the aluminum. or other chrome parts unless you did etching. I'm trying to get some ideas on what to do to customize, and to see barriers folk have run into.

I'm thinking the black Vision is perfect for a red and silver pin stripe along the curves and edges.

Chandler Tom has some pics in the gallery of some custom paint he added to his Black Vision.

Hope this helps.

Tom Arnold's custom Vision is featured in this month's Victory Rider magazine.  This is the only picture I could find of it online for those of you who don't get the mag.  http://www.etonline.com/news/2007/12/56380/index.html  I really like the way they extended the gold line through the saddlebag.  It actually wraps around to the back.

Vision Street Premium:  $7,800 paint job, $3,500 stereo (400 watts w/10" subwoofer in a saddlebag- removable), $2,100 Ness wheels, $900 custom Saddleman seat, $1,500 smoked chrome Stage 1 Cobra exhaust, $3,000 in misc. Victory accessories.  Total retail value:  $39,319.00

This bike will be auctioned off for charity in July on eBay.  (For you Robb Report guys.)

Like every other photo of a Vision, it doesn't come close to showing how awesome it looks in person.  Maybe some of you long-time Victory insiders can get some more pics of this bike to post.

So Cal
The new Victory rider mag has a Vision Street with gold accents in place of the brushed silver. Looks pretty good. Should have done something with the rear tipover though. MRG nailed that one.

Still should have done something with those rear tipovers for that kind of money.

That is the Tom Arnold Vision in this month's Vision Rider Magazine. A very nice paint scheme if you ask me...

I painted my Black Bike Candy Apple Red with silver flake and grey pin. The Red is very deep looking in the sun with sublte sparkles in it. I posted a few pics in the gallery along with 3 of my girlfriends... Total cost for paint was $1200 cash not including the logo which I think would have been another $400...

Wow, very nice! and that's including the bike. Thanks for sharing that. I've got a few ideas, but it'll be long thought out before I jump in. I like what you did with the fairing to offset, and the over all scheme. I'm wanting to do murals on both bags and theme it with a fade on the fairing. Or I just might just go with a design like you did. Thanks again Chandler Tom, and not a bad price, I might do mine sooner than I expected. I like the logo as well, that is a great touch for the V.

Are there any others out there that have done there's. I've seen Tom Arnold, and the Ness bikes, I wanting to see what the rider's in the real world has done, or going to do.

Mike S...wow nice eye. The jack is the Sears Aluminun one that I used on my Ness Jackpot. Not sure if it will even work with the Vision... any threads about jacks yet??

P.S. The logo was done so nicely, most people think it is sticker and not paint! and did I spell aluminum correctly?
