Florida | Walt just picked up the bike for service and we were talking about the rear lighting. He has a license plate with an LED light bar above and below the license plate. He'll put it on and I'll snap some photos next week and post them here. He will wire them up to the brake system and they will strobe three times when pressed, then pause for three seconds, then strobe again. As I told Walt, rear lighting is important to me as I can control what's ahead of me...not behind me. I want the highest level of visibility available. Usually when approaching a slow down in traffic, I'm in the habit of pumping the rear brake lever to flash the brake lights.
He also is working on a replacement for the side reflectors that will act as LED running lights that can also act as turn signals. I told him to install when he's ready. | |

Florida | Update: The bike was returned today and Walt decided to wait on installing the LED strobe lighting as he will have to find the proper connector. I'll keep you posted. | |
