I seen the RPW pipes today at their shop and they look pretty nice, they have them in chrome and black, you can see them on Loyds web site, they are called Double Vision pipes. |

| I like my Honkers more than anything I have heard yet. But I will say that when the bike was stock, they seemed to be missing something.
With Lloyd's cams they sound a little deeper and are what I was looking for.
I am visiting my dealer today to listed to a set of the RPW Ceramic Double Vision pipes on an 8Ball.
Will let you know how they sound. I looked at them the other day and was not impressed with the durability of the pipes.
The smallest contact and they mark up. Will be difficult to keep them looking good. |

| I have the L2's, no baffles and a special end cap. Best sound that I have heard on a Vision IMO |

And after about 5000 miles they will get louder.

| I had Ness put the Thundersticks on with the Ness air box and the DynoJet-tuned Power Commander for the set-up. I was pleased prior to that and exstatic afterwards! |

How do you like to ride? What do you think you want out of an exhaust? Like Rick, #57, I had the Honkers and LOVED them while stock. After the cams and more highway riding, they had to go. Droaned me out on the highway at 70+ MPH. I now run the S1L1 and love the sound. Easy on the throttle it is quiet enough to not draw attention, romp on it and it is significantly louder (not nearly as loud as the Honkers). Honkers are loud and very deep with NO baffles in them at all. |

Posts: 156 dinwiddie, va | I have the big honkers with stage II air cleaner and tuner. I love the deep, throaty sound it puts off. It is loud when you get on it, but at cruise its not too much for me to hear the music. although I am running a 150watt amp to my speakers!!! My dad runs the big honkers too, mom never complains about it being loud. He also has the older style turndown tips that were accessories for the TC's and the sound bouncing off the ground sounds great. There is baffles in the big honkers. 12 inches to be exact. I like it because you use the heat shields too |

Posts: 92 Chandler, AZ | Arizona Victory - home shop in Tucson and sister shop in Phoenix - are re-working the stock mufflers and calling them "Arizona Slammers" I think it is. Nice sound, and that way you still have EPA-compliant stamp on them, for what that's worth, and.....a lot cheaper route to go. They also are removing or drilling out what some believe are cats in the header pipes, but they found out from Vic that they are not cats, and getting rid of them apparently really reduces the amount of heat coming off the pipes. I have S1L2 on mine already, but will be heading down to Tucson to have them install a PCommander and dyno-tune it, and see if beneficial to do the collector removal on my setup. Contact the Tucson shop if interested. |

You are correct in that they aren't "cats" they are actually called "Exhaust Velocity Devices" and while removing them may possibly reduce heat it has been reported by several folks "in the know" that you will also decrease low RPM power. The question is....how much power is lost???
But what we actually need is for someone to have a dyno with them installed and then remove them and then run another dyno. Any chance you feel like being a guinea pig? I mean if its a loss of a horse or two or three then its definitely worth it....if it actually reduces some heat.

Posts: 156 dinwiddie, va | When they first started putting them in the pipes we knocked a set out and ran it on the dyno again afterwords. It did lose a little on the bottom, but gained some power on top. Not worth the work IMO. Let me know how the Arizona slammers turn out. I have heard good things about arizona. but have personally seen different. |

| Don't forget to at least check out the new Vision pipes offered by D&D's. I have purposely reserved my complete review thus far so I can run them at length for an un-biased report. So far...I really do like them much better than my stock pipes and my S1L2's. I have NOT heard any of the others in person and it's so hard to get a real feel for pipes through sound bytes / video's. I can honestly say that the D&D's are louder than my other pipes and have a much more of that "Quality" exhaust note I had been searching for. As far as performance...it honestly blows my other pipes out of the water. No popping / pinging / stalling / etc...... |

Are these available to buy now? What else would I need? Can I just bolt them on or do I need to get fule mapping and intake stuff?

| Yes...they are now available and here is the D&D website link:
www.danddexhaust.com
They rolled out the pipes just this week on the D&D site and expect to see them on other motor sites as well in the near future. They just show photo's of my bike at the moment but are going to post dyno sheets and video as soon as they get to it.
As far as the fuel map / intake / etc. I don't exactly know the whole answer to this but they ARE slip-ons that can be done yourself. They utilize the front stock heat shields and the pipes themselves have a heat shield built into it. Aaron said that they left room so we can actually add the stock rear heat shield as well if we so choose. Mine already had the VFCIII / Intake and S1L2 map. I do know that they took the map back to stock and compensated via VFCIII on mine. I would certainly give then a call and ask about your other questions. Let me know what you decide. |

You can definitely say it is not work the work! We took the out on a friends vision - now my wife's vision. Talk about a pain in the A$$!
End result - not much different - lost a little on the bottom end and seems to flow a little better on the top end.
Per one of the master wrenches... doing it dropped the HP 1-2.
This bike has the cams, VFCIII, intake plate and 2.25" Atom Bombs.

You defintely want to use a fuel tuner and at least a performance filter. I would also use a stage II filter too. The bikes already run lean. adding pipes with no tune= big lean conditions! |
