just wanted to sat hello and say I'm glad I found this SITE.. I just bought a "you can have it in any color as long as it BLACK" 2009 Vision comfort. here is the kicker I have NEVER EVEN test road a Vision..I have 2 bike now a 2000 busa (just can't let her go) and a 2002 Warrior that is going bye, bye!! I have been looking for a touring/cruiser for a little while It all started with a Triumph Rocket III, (it was a HP thing) liked the bike HATE the sound. then was REALLY close to buying a Stratoliner and a buddy said what do you think about those Victory's I said "Man I love the look's of them but I'd have to eat Mac & chesse for lunch & dinner to pay for that thing". he said "look on craigs list there is a 08 Vision on there with 18,000 miles for $13,199" I thought I can swing that so I sent the feller an email and no resopnse..... so I thought for S&G's I'd look on Cycle Trader to see what might be out there. I see an add for a 2009 Vision Comfort NEW w/5 year warranty for $15,495. I'm think yeah right then they are going to tack on "set up" fee, shipping & handling fee, and what ever other fee they can think of but I called anyway just to see. I get this guy William on the phone and I said "William I see you have an 09 Vision listed for $15495 I don't want to waste my time and or yours so give me the out the door price so I can hang up the phone and keep looking" he say's "ok how bout $15495 out the door does that keep you from hanging up the phone" I said "I'm listening". he tells me that Victory is give dealers a couple different rebates untill 4-1-10 and that he is just passing it along to the buyer so he can move inventory and quit paying interest on the 09's so I said "no joke, unreal" told him I needed to make a couple of calls and I would be calling him back. I went to see a friend of mine that is a sales manager at a Yamaha dealership (remember the Stratoliner) and run the senario by him he shakes his head at me and says "brother that's a no brainer... as much as I want to sell you a strat. I can't beat those #'s that a really good deal". So i call William aka Billy now and say take the black one off the list!! he said "I know you said you have not riden one but you won't be dissapointed, and at this price you can ride it for 2 or 3 years and sell it if you want to and get close to what you paid for it". I think he might be right!! so the moral of the story is you only have this one life to live and sometimes you just got to jump out of your comfort box and do things that are total "not you". I'm 43 yrs old and have NEVER ownered a new anything with a warranty and to buy something without test riding it sounds crazy and I never would have though I would do domething like that but in this case I DID and I'm not looking back!!!! I'm going to ride it like I stole it cause I feel like I did. Thanks Billy!! |

Thanks all for the warm welcome, I forgot to say now comes the unfun part. I'm having to have it shipped from GA to MO and have NO IDEA when it's going to get here... Man it's like being a kid at Christmas and not knowing when it's going to be Christmas day!! If any one knows of a good, semi fast, Shipper I'm ALL EARS
