My additions:
It appears that step 29.5 is missing - Remove seat filler panel so you can see the dimple.
#34 under module installation - I installed the CB module and bottom bolt when I had the trunk skin removed to install the antenna. It is IMPOSSIBLE to install this any other way.

| I did find the screws and removed them. Thanks for the tip.
After everything was installed, I can hear people on the CB, but I cant talk to them. When I push the PTT button, the console says TX. but no signal goes out. I tried communicating to another vision 20 feet from me, and a handheld, neither could hear me. We compared wiring on the vision since his CB works, and found a single wire from the audio harness CB connector that was not connected on my bike. Maybe this is the reason? |

| After installing my CB/ICOM unit, I found that I can only receive, not transmit. When I push the PTT button, console said TX.
Found that the drivers cable had a "pinched" wire, apparently for the microphone. I was able to twist the cable slightly and everything works fine now. I am kind of concerned about a loose connection, but I will monitor the results after riding the bike for a while. I think vibration may create a bad connection again. |
