Is anyone using the bigbore kit from either Lloydz or S&S? On the 106 it makes a 114 incher. I understand the S&S kit uses a cast iron liner instead of the nickasil, what about the Lloyds kit is it nickasil or traditional iron?

Lloyd's are cast iron. The last thing I heard was that they are both still having issues with the kits.

I would say Call Lloyd. I just spoke with him this week about the upgrade for the ECU to raise the rev limiter and he has that available now. Secondly and to the point of this thread lloyd told me his Big bore kit is ready Makes 127Hp and 130Tq is I think what he told me.

I hear that he can raise the rev limiter to 6100 now.
Last year my bike made 122/125 with its short lived big bore kit. The initial hope was for around the 130.
After I am SURE all the bugs are worked out, I will do it again. Roll on power was off the charts.

Nice to hear, rev limiter to 6100 will be very nice. I believe being a motor man my self that the iron lined big bore cylinders will be more durable than the nickasil. I believe also looking at dyno charts that for the 114 to be a a killer top end engine the ports will have to be worked and maybe a good "street" big valve head option offered.

Lets see if I can finally post that Dyno?
We were expecting around 130HP.

I talked with Lloyd about a week ago. He expects the parts to be around $1300 or so plus 14 hours of labor to do the work....

The dyno graph above, the way the torque curve was falling off slightly, if the motor had continued to 6000 rpm and held 115 ft lbs it would have made 131HP............
