OK, I have done the Kurakyn 4710 mod to my tour pack and still nto happy with the visibility in bright sunlight for braking and turn signals....I want to add an LED kit to the tour pack (both yellow and red LED's) to be MORE noticeable when braking and turning for the cagers behind me...What do you think the BEST LED kit is out there for this???

I have seen a couple on the internet but not in person. I know LED "brightness" varies depending on what LED is used and most don't give any type of rating for brightness (lumens) so can anybody suggest the BRIGHTEST LED kit for this application???

I have the Custom Dynamics 99LED brake light mod. to my tourpack. I do not get to see them while riding , but those behind me say they are very visable in the day light. I heard that someone was going to do a three string LED to do what you want but have yet to see any.

I have these as well. They really brighten up the rear end of the bike!

I did a variation of the 99LED mod, using a 30LED red for the brake, and two 24LED amber for the turns. Installation mimics the 99LED mod with the brake going to the white/pink wire, the left turn going to the blue wire, and the right turn going to the blue/red wire. I chose the 24LEDs for the turns because the length more closely matches the stock trunk running lights, and you need a little space between the light strings for the wires to run.

Great idea Ronnie......sounds like I need to clone that...was getting ready to do the 99...but this sounds even better.

I'll see if I can get my Son-In-Law to take a video when we're both not busy at the same time. I don't have a digital video camera yet.

It looks just as you would imagine. The center comes on red with the brakes. The amber 24LED turns are installed on either side just below the stock trunk running lights, and pretty much match the length of the trunk running lights. They only come on, individually, when a turn signal is applied, or both flash together when the 4 way hazards are applied.
