| Well, I had everything apart while adding the stereo and axhaust, so I decided to tint the lenses at the same time. Plenty of light still comes through. As you can see, I didnt take it black, just the vibrance of the amber and the red.

| I used the VHT Nite Shades. There are many posts on here about it. I wet sanded the lens until the gloss was gone, then did 1 dust coat and 2 regular coats. Then I did about 3 coats of clear. The clear will help smooth it out. Also, I wasn't sure how the tint would hold up to scubbing bug guts off the front. I may polish it to a little higher gloss after about a week. |

Posts: 366 Albuquerque, NM | It came out very nice! Did you mask of the lenses and shoot them on the bike? I've got the nite shade and the clear. Just waiting for some wamer weather. I plan on shooting my uppers and lowers also. What grit of paper did you use on the lenses? |

I tinted my lenses by taping and maskingl. 1,000 grit paper works well. I have posted several pictures in the gallery section of this web site of my Vision 8ball which I recently tinted. Everyone seems to agree that the bike looks better than ever. I am really satisfied with the results and the overall looks of the bike. |
