First thing I'd look at is the bottom of the exhaust pipe. Is the heel of your boot on it?

Pipe is good, not sure how my boot would get on it with these long floorboards.

Anybody else? SUe hope it isnt the belt issue some have, it was my biggest concern switching to Victory from HD. Never had a belt issue with them.

Thanks for any input!

I mentioned the heel only because I have done it. A couple times actually. Sometimes when I suit-up with the gloves and helmet I kinda half a-- sit on the seat with my leg dangling over the seat, and my heel bouncing on the pipe. I'm thinking I'll get smarter,,,,or my boot shorter!

Just a few things run through my mind, but I am just suggesting some things to inspect.

How many miles on your Vision? Could it be the smell of break-in?

Any chance a rubber hose from the fuel line or oil line might have gotten moved or bumped during cleaning. Now it sits on a hot engine part?

I'll keep thinking and see what other creative ideas I can come up with! LOL

Check the plug for the battery tender if the dealer installed it. Mine is on the left side near the front cylinder. It rests on the engine casing and I plan on relocating it because I noticed it gets pretty hot and gooy after a long ride. If it were to melt through it could also short out your battery. Any clutch problems? Anything stuck to the bottom of your muffler or engine casing like a piece of plastic debris?
