Just found this over on the VMC, if anyone is interested in buying lowers. Great price...
I'm bummed, as I just purchased some, that are still sitting on my workbench!

Posts: 323 N. Miami, Florida | If you guys don't know it, that kit is only good to aquire the hinges as the plexi panels themselves are crap and ALL break after not to long being installed. We offer custom billet aluminum replacements that fit right on your stock hinge mounts. Offerered in Midnight Cherry, Ocean Blue, Charcoal metallic (SSG), and Gloss Black powder coat as well as triple show chrome. We also offer matching uppers in billet as well. To see them all go to http://www.cycleopsusa.com/custombillet.html. Not only are they less expensive than the OEM plastic, but they're MUCH better looking, no to mention they'll also NEVER BREAK! Plus, due to their lack of flex compared to the plastic ones, they also offer stronger air flow. Be sure to check out all the reviews. PM me for the 10% discount code to save even more.

Yo dude...thanks for killing any chance to sell my lowers on this site. I understand that you're trying to make a buck selling your stuff but you don't have to bash another guys stuff. I know one company I won't buy anything from. Geesh!

Yo dude...thanks for killing any chance to sell my lowers on this site. I understand that you're trying to make a buck selling your stuff but you don't have to bash another guys stuff. I know one company I won't buy anything from. Geesh!Dude, you're so wrong, so chill out... the world isn't out to get you, nor am I. I'm helping you actually, so let it go. Like I said, the kit is worth it for the hinges alone since you can't buy them separately. Since the factory kit is almost $250, you selling them for $200 is a good deal to someone. The OEM lowers are gonna break, period. If you don't want people to know that, that's on you. I prefer to be honest as they will break. Now go ahead and sell them so I can then go ahead and sell someone mine. You may even want to update your ad with this fact about the hinges because I know there are many guys out there looking for them as I get asked all the time. BTW, when I said they would break, or anything else I stated in my post, I wasn't even referring to yours, but rather the OEM units in general. Have a beer on me, you need one.

Posts: 377 O'Neill, Nebraska | I'm not sure how referring to the plastic as Cheap or Crap is helping me sell these lowers, but I guess that's your opinion. As for the quality of the items, I wouldn't know because they're directly from Victory. It's interesting how you ask me to update my ad.
All I ask is put yourself in my shoes. If someone talked about your chome like this I'm pretty sure you'd 'over react.' Since you need people to own this item before they buy yours...a good marketing person would probably give you different guidance.
Best wishes and I'll pass on the beer offer.

Posts: 323 N. Miami, Florida | First off, everyone that has them knows they are flawed in design. Search the threads here and on the VMC and see for yourself if you think I'm talking trash. Secondly, the thread was not posted by you, nor did you even acknowledge yourself as the seller in your post above mine, so your post was baseless in the first place. Did you see me post anything in your lowers for sale thread, or the one on the VMC for that matter? No, so dude, get over yourself. As you yourself say you wouldn't know the quality, then refuting me on it has no basis, does it? Any plastic part stressed like those are by the wind with an attaching point 1/32" from the edge is bound to fail. Ask all the guys who have. Now since you don't seem to get what I said about the hinges being worth the price of the kit, there's no need in trying to make you understand as you still want to think I was pulling the rug from under you. You seem like you'd rather argue a baseless point than to listen to good advice about marketing the hinges more than the panels themself. When they advertised Ford Pinto they advertised the economy, not the fact that if you hit them in the rear they'd explode, right? I'll say it again... there are several guys here and on the VMC looking for HINGES but will buy the whole kit to get them if the price is right. Considering some dealers discount the kits 20% and you're asking a little more than that at $200, think about that being more why you still have them than due to my post, as anyone here can buy them for that from those online discount dealers. Price them to sell and they will, just stop blaming me for you still having them.
