Posts: 152 Bonita Springs, FL | I just received a pair of the just released Cardo Scala G4 headsets. I purchased these as I have a Jackpot in addition to my Vision, but just could not ride without music. I tried a lot of different things, speakers, wearing my ipod earphones, etc. and was not successful with any. I have to say this is one of the most amazing electronic items I have ever purchased. I have an iphone with several hundred songs and bluetoothed it to the Scala in seconds. I got on the Jackpot with aftermarket very loud mufflers, put my earplugs in and WOW, I had to actually turn the volume down. I tried several phone calls, totally hands free (press one button for one second) and both people had no idea I was on a motorcycle doing 60 MPH. Also, it has a built in FM radio and I tried that for several miles and reception was great. I will be giving the other set to a friend and will report on the bike to bike communications supposedly good for 1 mile with the G4. I cannot say enough about how well this works, and I finally have music on my Jackpot with volume to spare with earplugs in. |

Posts: 152 Bonita Springs, FL | I use foam earplugs and the volume is so good I have to turn it down. Sounds like you may have a problem. I tried mine at a show with my earplugs in before I ordered one, because volume was the biggest issue with me. When you play music is the volume any louder than the phone call? |
